The AM5212/26 is a medium-power, lightweight, two-way full-range loudspeaker system. It incorporates a JBL Differential Drive dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap 262H-1 low-frequency driver with a 300 mm (12 in) cone diameter. The high-frequency section uses a 2408H-1 compression driver featuring a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit diameter and 38 mm (1.5 in) voice coil. The loudspeaker includes a large-format PT Progressive Transition waveguide with a rotatable horn providing nominal coverage of 120° horizontal by 60° vertical. Passive high-slope crossover networks reduce band overlap between drivers. The system’s design supports controlled off-axis frequency response to facilitate array configurations.
