The All/New D Series Laser Installation Projector
Appotronics ALPD technology evolved into 4th generation with over 1000 patents awarded worldwide; The products using ALPD technology, has been widely-adopted in digital cinemas, large venues and installations, education and other markets.
The D series adopt RGBY 4-segment color wheel. The Y (yellow) segment uplifts the brightness of the machine while bringing much better color and higher color brightness then traditional RGBW color wheels.
ALPD is a solid state laser light source that can reach full power virtually instantly when turned on. No waiting for warm-up, as is the case with traditional lamp-based projectors. Power off is also instantaneous, with no need to wait for light engine to cool. Recovery from event, operator error, etc., is quick and carefree.
