VTX-S28 | VTX SERIES S28 SUSPENDABLE DUAL 18” SUBWOOFER FEATURING ULTRA LONG THROW,PATENTED DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE

The VTX S28 is a dual 18-inch subwoofer enclosure equipped with two 2269H transducers that utilize Differential Drive technology, featuring dual voice coils and neodymium magnets. These drivers provide high peak-to-peak excursion to support extended low-frequency output. The enclosure is designed for both suspension and ground stacking, with compatibility for VTX V25 suspension hardware to enable integration with V25 arrays. When suspended atop V25 arrays, the S28 increases the effective low-frequency line length, enhancing vertical pattern control and rear sound rejection in cardioid configurations.

The S28 can be configured as a cardioid array in multiple configurations, either suspended beside or behind V25 arrays, or centrally within flown V25 arrays for improved coverage of balconies and floor areas, enhancing underbalcony sound penetration. Larger cardioid arrays can be formed by ground-stacking or suspending multiple units in blocks of three (two front-firing, one rear-firing) to optimize rear rejection and directional control of low-frequency dispersion.
