The VTX A8 is a compact line array loudspeaker designed for small to mid-size rental and installed sound reinforcement applications. It features two 8-inch woofers, four 3.5-inch midrange drivers, and two 2-inch high-frequency drivers housed in a low-profile enclosure. The loudspeaker provides a horizontal dispersion of 110 degrees. The cabinet includes proprietary double-flared low-frequency ports to extend the frequency response down to 49 Hz. The VTX A8 utilizes JBL's patented rigging mechanism and suspension system for mounting flexibility.
