- UM: EA
- Brand: JBL / HARMAN
The SRX918SF is a powered 18-inch subwoofer designed for use in suspended or ground-stacked configurations with SRX900 Series full-range systems. It features an integrated three-point rigging system that supports standalone arrays or combined deployment with SRX910LA cabinets. The subwoofer contains a JBL 2279-1 18-inch woofer utilizing Differential Drive technology, which incorporates dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps to enhance heat dissipation and reduce power compression.
The unit includes built-in digital signal processing (DSP) and amplification for consistent performance and simplified setup. The cabinet is constructed from 18 mm birch plywood and incorporates a large low-frequency port designed to optimize airflow and minimize audible turbulence at high output levels. Control of the system is provided via compatible software available for Windows, macOS, and iPadOS platforms.
