The JBL DSi 2.0 amplifier series is a line of dedicated cinema amplifiers based on Crown DSI Digital Screen Array technology, incorporating 32-bit/96 kHz floating-point DSP derived from Crown's CDi DriveCore series. These amplifiers provide multiple power configurations across analog and analog-plus-digital "D" models with Dante/AES67 connectivity, supporting direct interfacing with Dolby Atmos systems without additional processing hardware. The amplifiers include JBL Cinema Speaker presets for system configuration, playback optimization, and equipment protection, as well as SNMP connectivity for networked audio distribution and third-party theater-management control integration.

Each DSi 2.0 amplifier model offers four channels of amplification with bridgeable outputs in a 2RU chassis footprint, capable of driving up to four surround speakers per channel in 2-ohm high-power-density mode. The design utilizes Crown DriveCore technology, integrating numerous components into a single processing chip to improve power density, operational stability, and audio fidelity. The series aims to align power delivery with JBL cinema speaker requirements, enabling simplified system deployment and scalable amplification for professional cinema installations.
