    HPD9300 is a two-way passive cinema surround loudspeaker featuring a 25 mm (1 inch) compression driver for high frequencies and a 250 mm (10 inch) woofer with a 50.8 mm (2 inch) voice coil for low frequencies. The loudspeaker supports up to 250W of power handling and includes waveguide and horn designs optimized for precise acoustic pattern control in theater environments.

    The design incorporates JBL’s Image Control Technology combined with asymmetric wave-shaping techniques, including an integral Wave Shaping Vane, to tailor sound dispersion to room geometry. The enclosure is molded with a black textured finish and includes an open high-frequency horn covered by a black baffle.
