The CPi2000 is a professional cinema audio processor designed to manage audio signal processing and volume control. It supports digital signal processing (DSP), room equalization tuning with a 1/3 octave graphic equalizer, volume adjustment, and system fault detection. The device provides four input types: analog input, digital input, non-synchronized line-level stereo input for background music sources, and a mono microphone input.

The CPi2000 includes ten HD-15 analog output connectors to support passive, bi-amp, or tri-amp configurations, as well as a 25-pin analog output connector for integration with third-party audio systems. A redundant output connector bypasses the processing system to output audio directly during power failures. Configuration and control are performed through a dedicated graphical user interface (GUI) software. The front panel features a large LCD display for system status monitoring and a volume control knob for direct output level adjustments.

The processor incorporates programmable crossover presets compatible with a range of cinema speaker models. It is designed for use with Crown cinema amplifiers and JBL cinema speakers, with the capability to detect amplifier or speaker faults and communicate this information to a theater management system (TMS) or third-party control systems via an RJ45 network connector.
