The Control 42C is an ultra-compact in-ceiling satellite loudspeaker engineered for integration with the Control 40CS/T in-ceiling subwoofer. It is designed to function as a mid-high frequency component within a subwoofer-satellite audio system, supporting configurations of two or four Control 42C units driven by the Control 40CS/T, Control 50S/T surface-mount, or Control 60PS/T in-ceiling subwoofers. The system includes an internal crossover housed within the subwoofer, facilitating full-range wide-bandwidth performance.

The speaker system supports low-impedance operation and can also be configured for 70V or 100V distributed speaker line applications. The compact form factor of the Control 42C allows for discreet ceiling installation, minimizing visual impact while enabling wideband audio coverage in various commercial sound reinforcement environments.
