AW526-BK is a high-power, lightweight, 2-way full-range loudspeaker featuring a 15-inch (380 mm) low-frequency driver with dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap technology (JBL 2265H-1) and a 1.5-inch (38 mm) exit compression driver with a 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil (JBL 2432H). The loudspeaker incorporates a rotatable large-format Progressive Transition waveguide providing a coverage pattern of 120° horizontal by 60° vertical, allowing use in both vertical and horizontal orientations. It includes a 400 W 70/100V transformer for power handling.

The enclosure is constructed from multilayer glass composite with internal bracing to enhance low-frequency performance. Mounting is facilitated by a heavy-duty U-type weather-treated bracket suitable for flat surfaces or 90° corners. A 14-gauge stainless steel baffle with open-cell foam and stainless steel mesh backing protects the components against environmental exposure. The design is suitable for outdoor applications and is part of JBL’s AE Series.
