The AW266-LS-BK is a high-power, 2-way, full-range loudspeaker designed for life safety applications. It features a 12-inch (300 mm) low-frequency driver with a differential drive dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap (model 2262H), alongside a high-frequency 1.5-inch (38 mm) exit compression driver with a 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil (model 2432H). The loudspeaker is built for all-weather use and includes sealed components on LS models.
The system incorporates a large-format Progressive Transition waveguide providing a 60° x 60° coverage pattern. The loudspeaker supports both vertical and horizontal mounting orientations. The LS Model has sealed parts.
