AM7212/66 is a 12-inch, 2-way full-range loudspeaker system featuring a JBL Differential Drive low-frequency driver model 2262H with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps. It includes a 1.5-inch exit compression driver model 2432H with a 3-inch voice coil for high-frequency output. The system incorporates a large-format Progressive Transition waveguide with 60° x 60° coverage, which is rotatable to allow operation in vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope passive crossover networks are used to minimize frequency band overlap. The loudspeaker design supports well-controlled off-axis response to facilitate array configurations.
